Scripture translations
Translation copyrights and quotation limits differ. A Bible reference is the default. If the bulletin includes full verses or readings, use the church’s approved source and verify that the proposed use falls within the publisher’s terms.
Hymns, worship songs and music
A title alone does not authorize lyrics, notation or an arrangement. Confirm whether CCLI, ONE LICENSE, a denominational license, public-domain status or direct permission covers the exact reproduction and medium. Report usage when the license requires it.
Liturgical and denominational texts
Missals, prayer books, worship resources, lectionaries and denominational materials may carry separate restrictions. The software provides structural labels only and locks content marked as official against generative rewriting.
Images, logos and photographs
Use church-owned work, properly licensed stock, public-domain work or generated images you have reviewed. Obtain consent before publishing identifiable people, especially children. AI image generation cannot guarantee trademark or rights clearance.
What the preflight checks
The editor can flag full text or images that lack a permission basis or required license record, and official content incorrectly marked for AI editing. A clear checklist helps review; it cannot determine legal status for you.
